Dual exposure is the obvious and best solution to extremes in lighting but it necessitates setting up a tripod etc.
However, quite often one's best landscapes are an opportunity that presents itself on the spur of the moment. Frequently in these cases the lighting may not fit comfortably into the dynamic range and/or - dare I say it - one's exposure may also be hasty and less than optimum. Dual conversion of a single RAW file is is a great help in this regard. Whilst never quite as good as two separate exposures, I get the impression that the raw converter can extract a remarkable amount of hidden information from a file where the range is not too extreme.
In analogue terms this would be equivalent to being able to develop a single negative image twice with different dilutions temperatures etc (that would be a neat trick). The resulting image may not be technically perfect but may work perfectly in terms of aesthetics.

There are many people who would sign up anything to come to US. When that A company spends 5-6k and bring people here, they disapear in 1 month. Obviously in this case court will go against the employee firstly because there is an underlying bias for the employer as he's a US employer second I personally feel he has all rights to ask for money since he invested in you...

I might have been doing much better there. But I am at the point where I cannot let got without trying. Have you reached that point yet?

I have been slogging in this mess since 1999, even though I have world class qualifications (Full time MBA from a top US school, several years of work experience, PMP and marching toward CFA). All this are futile , if I don't have that stupid work permit with out any strings attached (Green Card)
Yes I do have EAD. But it is full of restriction. At least let us work together to remove that restriction..

I am surprised to hear that you were not allowed to board from India. As I mentioned, I have no idea what the procedures are right now. You might run into an official or Airline agent who is not aware of the rules. In my case, I traveled from the US couple of times with AP/Canada PR. First time it was AA/BA and the next time it was AA/Emirates. The checking you will go through will include both immigration and airline staff. If you are transiting thru London Heathrow, you will have to get past a passport check and security screening again to get to your boarding gate. This is where the Airport staff will check your papers. The gate agent will check your papers at the boarding gate and might even issue a different boarding pass. In case you have any doubts, I suggest you take another route or get a visa. The higher cost you might pay by flying Lufthansa for example, will offset the cost of a visa. You don't want to get stranded in any case. Good Luck.

i think you are right. 100 M is a LOT of money to forsake for an agency like USCIS.

An event in DC would be convinient for members who live or work in and around the DC area, and also because the concentration of working people in the city and vicinity is higher. People who work in the area can stop by after work and network over dinner.

My argument is it better to take a side on immigration issue or not. Maintaining status quo is better than including some releif for legal immigrants. I bet people in US like legal immigrants to legal immigrants, but how many people is ?. Will this favor any politicians to garner some votes or will it back fire? No one knows and that is why I said at this time of election period, it is better for them to maintain status quo than favoring legal immigrants.
If they pass something for legal immigrants for sure they are going to lose some votes who are favoring illegal immigrants which is bigger number than people favoring legals. So I dont think they will take a risk at this time to favor legal immigrants in any bills if at all there is one before the election.

Trust me, if everyone was against legal immigration in this country then none of us would be here in the first place. They should be able to tell you if the I140 is assigned to a I485. For me it is academic now because as of March I'll be within PD for EB3 or EB2.

Actually I posted this same question on Lawbench.com (paid service) and one of thier lawyers provided me with this asnwer:
You cannot leave the United States while a change of employer petition is pending. Unless, that petition requests for Consular Processing. You would need to show your valid passport, H-1B visa, and current approval notice for Co B. Yes, you can enter with Company A's visa stamp.
If you cannot wait in the US for Company B's petition to be approved, you would need consular process the petition and travel with the approval notice.
My concern comes is WHAT SHE MEANS BY CONSULAR PROCESSING? Does it applies to Consular Processing?
Also what about H1 Protability 2001 ACT which says if transfer is in process, one can enter the country just on receipt?

After a long 5 years I finally received 485 case approved letter for both my case and my spouse's case. However the online status still shows pending. Is this common?. How long would it take for the online case status to be updated.

Anyone can start a C-Corp in USA, (s)he is not even needed to be present in USA. If you're present then you must be legally present; any valid visa or EAD etc. will do.
The issue becomes a wee bit trickier when it's time to remunerate yourself like drawing a salary. From IRS's point of view, an LLC is nothing more than a proprietorship (sole or partnered), a disregarded entity. Since the income must be filed with your own tax return, it's a "no go" for most H visa holders. For the same reason, most would not want to start an S-Corp. Sice GotFreedom? is on H1 and started an LLC, I would like to know how he's managing his tax returns? I really don't know how does filing tax returns get affected by your spouse's visa status, specifically when you're married and filing jointly.
Apart from the visa situation, you should be concerned about the liability. What if one of your customers wants to sue you? LLC provides "LIMITED" liability protection. if you're not concerned about liability at all, then I would suggest to start as a Sole Proprietorship. You've nothing to do (if you're starting the business in your name such as Mike Hofner's Deli) except to earn money :-) and report it as income in your tax returns. If you want to give a separate name to your entity, file a DBA (Doing Business As) with your state.

I think so too. They were sh*t scared on the number of apps they were going to receive. And just when they were increasing fees and wanting to show how their performance was going to improve, it became current. It would have been a bad rap for them and fee increase would not have been justifiable.
It is mostly be cause they wanted to teach a lesson to DOS for opening the floodgates. Also, backlogs are one key performance indicator for USCIS and is reported to congress. If 100k, plus people apply right away and another 300k in next couple of months, it would look bad on their records.

I paid my lawyer with a single check that had the USCIS fee + Attorney Fee...so I never got back the deposited check.....If I had know about this trick, I would have sent my lawyer two separate checks. Is there any way I can call USCIS and ask them the LIN# ?

My lawyer was also Anal to give me my EAC, This is what I did, On the back of the Check that was submitted for 140 will be a stamp from Immigration authorities- You should also see an EAC # if you got that check back or if you can makeup a story saying you need it as part of the documentation.
Then you can go online and ensure that it's valid and the dates match.
