I have also had success using just the online printout, but to be safe, you should make a Freedom of Information Act request for a copy of the I-140 approval notice. I do not think that the denial of a petition for extension of H-1B status, in and of itself, would effect your pending I-485.

be aware. All these PDF editing tools leave a watermark - "Draft" or "Trial Version".
They are totally useless.
Earlier trial Adobe 7.0 Professional did give edit and save. Not 8.0
Bottonline: don't waste time or by 8.0 for USD 1800 or so. Or use one who has PDF editors (Admins etc)

Pelosi reconfirms taking on immigration, but the Senate has to start it. She went on to say, the House passed climate and energy legislation last year, but it has not acted on immigration reform.

I have a old EB3 PD Sept 2003 with Company A , and a new EB2 and I140 approved from Company B.
Can I ask my old company to file for I140 so that I may use the Old PD.
How can I bear the expenses of the USCIS and attorney's fees, given I am not working at company A.
Any clues would help.
I guess the old labor will be invalid by now as it has been already been over 45 after approval.
Ask a lawyer, because due to this labor substitution rule now you might have a problem. (" A GOOD LAWYER IS A SOLUTION HERE")

I traveled- chicago-frankfurt-bangalore- H1B extended but visa stamp expired. No one asked anything while going.
While coming back they checked my AP at bangalore only (Check-in, indian immigration and boarding). no one asked for it in Frankfurt.
on I-94 that they give in flight, leave the visa issuance date blank (air line crew did not understand what AP is?).

First round of interviews went well - now have to send my details to their HR to make sure EB2 porting will work.
However, does filing AC21 (same or similar) cause a conflict with EB2 filing in this case? Should they file and get I-140 approved and then only I should join them?
1. Make sure that your new company's HR and lawyer are comfortable in supporting the fact that new job is same or similar to old job. It is a grey area and you can be the best judge on it.
2. When you join the new employer ask their attorney to send AC-21 letter to USCIS indicating that you have moved to a same or similar job based on AC-21 porting.
3. Filing for H1 or EAD is a personal choice - as far as GC processing goes I don't see a difference in using either.
4. If they are willing and and the position qualifies you to file EB-2 and port PD- sure go ahead.

It's not the "swf" we're concerned with, it's the "fla", and it doesn't just do it with imported Swift3D stuff, but with jpg's and movie's and other imported media.
Try this experiment.
Open a blank Flash project. Save it as an FLA file, and note the file size.
Import a large jpg, then delete it from the stage, and from the library.
Save it again and compare file size again.

I am positively sick of seeing the same "case received and pending" status on my I-485 case for the past two years (almost). I call CIS and they parrot like repeat the same status which I see on their website. They tell me they have no further information.
I simply can't take it any more. I have already paid unnacceptably high human cost for this GC. If my case has any discrepency and it is going to be rejected eventually, then I dont see any point of working in US from this point onwards itself. I would rather move back to India and use this time to build my career there.
I can hang on only if I somehow get to know if my case has been pre-adjudicated for approval, and no more bureaucratic actions are required on it. But how do I do that?
Any ideas?
