Even I received a screen shot a few months ago. That did not have:
Processing Type, Case Source and Data Entry assigned to
Today I received the screen shot from my employer and found out that following informations are missing:
Processing Type, Case Source and Data Entry assigned to
I would like to know the significance of the above missing informations and does it affect the labor approval process?
In the screen shot, case received date is 01/10/2005 and Case Status is Data Review.
Please let me know if these missing info can have any negative affect my case? And if answer is YES then what should I do?

Does anyone have a format for Affidavits for Birth certificate? Is it ok If notorized in India? Is it ok if I can use an old Affidavits (notorized in 2004)?

Administrator please close this thread its just creating panic attack in people esp around something which is not true. GCard_Dream just came up with a date. My lawyer (Fragoman) confirmed there is no way USCIS or anybody will enforce a date of May 21st( the day bill was introduced).

I agree that we should ask adding the Filing I140/485 Simultaneously Provision to the CIR.
I know that most people on this forum have their EAD's but would like to request considering the plight of ones who are at the mercy of the H1 visa.
I am surprised that no one else waiting to file I-485 is coming forward ?!

Now that we are out of retrogression lets focus on solving the the Name check black hole. According to 2007 Ombudsman report there are over 30,000 cases whose name check has been pending for more than 3 years.

Will the IRS really track if we have an overseas account in India with balance over 10k if we don't report it to them? I currently do not have over 10k but planning to add more to that account this year.
They can track it if the account is in a US bank (for e.g. Citigroup). In fact US banks will auto-report your information to IRS. It can not be tracked if the account is in an Indian bank (for e.g SBI).

Already did DHS 7001 form.Nov 13th. they got it.And I do have attorney but when he called USCIS on Nov.13 told him that they have a lot more cases that have not yet been receited and need one more month.

I am still waiting to hear about my LC case PD 11/2003 Regular MI and wanted to know what kind of scenario awaits me in the future. When is the earlier that I can apply for my wife's work permit and is there any way to get her H1 done independent of my pending LC?
Also, has anyone with similar PD (regular) seen any progress with their case?

There is definitely something wrong with the FOIA data.
The data from FOIA says "Your Expected Date of Adjudication is Oct, 2009" (with and without spillover) :D. But, the Oct 09 Visa Bulletin says my PD is nowhere near to being current.
The website data calculator says "Jan 2011" without spillover, which is more believable.

hello,My congratulations to all the immigration voice members who are atlast ready to file I 485 on july first.
Its unbelievable that USCIS makes the dates current inspite of predictions.
I think they got some" internal orders "from White house to get rid of backlog so they can make rooms for their dear ILLEGALS.Any way for me and i believe for ALL others Its like a first showers of monsoon.
I would like to thank core members for doing an excellent job for us.In future i see logiclife ,waldenpond and our dear pappu as our new political leaders in this foreign land."count me in" whenever you need me.

I think this bill is targeted towards Indian MNC companies ( where 90% is H1B) who already makes huge profit by exploiting innocent indian recruits .
I remember i first came to this country in 2000 through a Indian MNC and they were like Ooh my God - No health Insurance(or crappy insurance) , wiping my Income Tax return , making me work huge overtime for free ( otherwise they would implicitly threat you to dispatch back to India and bring someone who would work for free). They used to evade
all kind of laws and made considerable damage to the country.
I believe good ethical companies ( medium or small) will be fine - I work for a medium size local firm , where there are quite a few H1B's but they have good volume of qualified techie americans as well - which is how it should be.
Let the Desi MNC sweat shop payback some money to US - they make huge from US:)

The idea, already suggested by lskreddy and pappu, to contact international students will be very effective to increase IV members.
If you look at various contact methods as chain reaction, students have high multiplication factor, and their chain extends to other universities too.
Hope their needs are in scope of IV's mission, because they haven't started G.C. process yet!
To Admin, Pappu and other active members,
Don�t you agree that we need to organize efforts for IV publicity?
Many effective ideas in this thread do not reach to all members. And, there is no way to find out if anybody followed up on particular idea.
Can this work out,
1) Webmaster or a Moderator should manage two new sections called "Media Awareness" and "Member Creation". Links to these sections should be on Home page like "Headlines/Announcements".
It will list all ideas, approved by IV team, which a member can volunteer for.
This list can grow by new ideas submitted by members.
2) When someone finds an idea, for example to contact local newspaper or TV station, in list that s/he can volunteer, that member can submit to list. This way Moderator or other members know it's being taken care of.
Also, volunteers can submit their follow up comments to same list.
May be this has been thought of already.
