I would suggest for people who know others/friends who might have suffered, to post all details (POE, date, time, visa status, reason cited if any etc) and then IV members could raise this issue. I am sure each one of us will join in the fight if there needs to be any.

If you have the phone numbers/address call or mail the affected individuals to collect the details. IV could then evaluate the justification for such action and if it is indeed truely some random officer playing discriminating behaviour, it has to be dealt with.

What is the form ETA 750B?
I filed for my labor in Dec'03 from Wisconsin under EB3. In dec 05 my attorney sent me the form 750B asking for my signature. That is 2 years later. Is this the form the attorney should have submitted when initially filing the labor certification?
I am still awaiting my 45 day letter.

It might sound like a crazy idea � but if you are filing for 485 right now (just as most of IV members) you might have seen the rush at the USCIS doctors offices. My doc gave me an appointment at 12; I went there thinking it will be done in one or two hours. Its not � they gave appointment to atleast 20 people at the same time. We were all sitting there for hours to complete tests. I talked to a bunch of people some of them are aware of IV; some of them are not (or atleast they said they are not aware). I asked anyone who is not a member to join us and about the efforts to increase greencard numbers. Of course a few of them looked at me as if I am selling something � but its fine for a good cause.
So if you are going for physical/immunizations for I485, take a few small sized fliers or cards with you. If your doc is same as mine, there would be many people like you waiting there and you can make atleast talk to a few. These are all the directly impacted people and are actively pursuing green card so there is good probability they will join us here.

I get this response from the USCIS calculator: Your Expected Date of Adjudication is Aug, 2010.
My priority date is Sept -05, EB3-ROW.
My lawyer says that there is very little chance of me getting greencard within 3 years.
I'm not sure which is correct. Does anyone have an idea?

I had applied for my AP on september 11 2009 at TSC. I recieved a receipt and I am waiting for approval since then. I am planning to travel out of country on 17th november 2009.
1. Do i need to cancel my tickets ?
2. Can I travel and ask someone to post the approved AP to my india address ?
3. Is there any chance that I may get biometrics notice during my travel (ITs already past 60 days) ?
4. In the worst case can I get H4 stamp (my husband is holding H1) and come back and start working on EAD ?
What are my options ? Any input will be appreciated.;
I don't think you should travel outside the country when your AP is pending. This is really unfortunate, since there are a lot of people who applied after you and have already received their AP. You can travel if your AP is approved prior to departure and than you can have them mailed to India after they arrive at your place (can ask a friend to do that). But, if your AP is not approved by the next Monday, I don't think you should travel.

I think from IV's perspective it is a matter of logistics. It might be difficult for them to keep track of all FOIA contributors and restrict access to only those folks.

If someone had contributed for a cause they should see the results else it will just deter folks from joining and contributing to IV in future. IV core Should decide whether they want a short term satisfaction or long term solution.

I tend to agree with sravani. If H6 required 60 months of experience, then it would be an EB2 I-140. But from what you have posted, looks like the requirement for the job is BS + 0 years. So this would be EB3.

Depends on your doc...the most time consuming test is the TB test which takes 48 hrs to get the results....So I guess its practical to say that if you were to take the exam wed. morning you can get the report by fri. afternoon or so.

This is not really stopping any fraud. But diverting money to border security. If they really wanted to secure the border and wanted to stop fruad, they should have created a bill that imposes heavy fines on employers employing undocumented workers.
It would have stopped not just illegal immigration and also secured the borders with the money. But no politician has a backbone to punish American Citizen employers employing illegal Hispanics. They cannot risk losing American citizen industry votes and money and Hispanic votes.
They can do away with Desi body shops and Desis because they how divided desis are and fight with each other.
That is right. We are divided, fight among ourselves, boast that we are highly skilled and highly paid, boast that we are big time contributors to USA, fastest growing community.... huge number of doctors, engineers, scientists ....... but we are divided. We keep fighting among ourselves. We form thousands of associations like ATA, TANA, Tamil association, Gujarati association ........ the list goes on but we can never unite among ourselves. Thats why we get treated like shit and most of us accept it as part of lives. It is always that some people try to do something to make a difference only to be opposed by our own people.
